I am married and a proud Mum of 4 children. 

I was a Solicitor specialising in Insurance litigation. 

I enjoy writing, gardening, yoga, dancing and singing.  

I write short stories, children's books, poetry & magazine articles. 

I regularly contribute to Garden News Magazine's 'Over the Fence' feature.

My most recent rhyming children's picture books are:-

• 'Jubilee Bee'  - a red, white and blue bee meets Her Majesty The Queen during her Platinum Jubilee Year and finds a place to let their colours shine! A gender neutral tale about finding a place to fit in and be yourself. Uses 'they', 'their' and 'themself' and suggested questions give an opportunity to discuss gender. Contains notes on the importance of looking after bees. 
• 'Jubilee Bee and the King's Christmas Present' - Jubilee misses their friend, Her Majesty the Queen. Jubilee is invited to meet King Charles III and learns that the best Christmas present that they could take to the King is one that is home-made with love and care. Jubilee also finds that the King misses Her Majesty the Queen and that she will always stay in their hearts.  Covers themes of bereavement and caring for the environment. 
• 'Jubilee Bee and the Coronation' - Jubilee celebrates a historic day and promises, like the King, to do their best to look after the earth and others. This book includes Coronation facts, suggests making your own list of things to do (to look after the earth and those around you) and has questions about the historic occasion and feelings. 
• ALSO AVAILABLE, 'The Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, The Queen Consort' -  a non-fiction information book which also includes illustrated anagram puzzles, acrostic poems, a Coronation Quiz and a journal section to add pictures, poems and memories so that a child can create their own personal souvenir of the Coronation year. 

My books promote taking care of nature, looking after the earth and each other. 

My next children's book will be about a hermit crab and will be out soon! I am also working on a poetry collection and submitting short stories to various magazines.
